Around 2000 students laid a siege to DAVV on Friday to support their 11 point charter of demands. The protest ended when their demands were accepted by Vice Chancellor D P Singh at 3:00 pm.
NSUI Demands were:
1) Special exam for ATKT students of Final Sem.
2) Result announcemnt date along with Exam timetable.
3) Organize Evaluation Centre
4) Lok Seva Guarantee Act in DAVV
5) Single window system at DAVV
6) DAVV Placement cell for college students
7) University budget and tenders to be on DAVV website
8) Adherence to academic calender
9) Urdu Deptartment on the UTD campus.
10) A footbridge in fron of UTD campus gate and railway reservation kiosks.
